As one of the most successful models in the world, Gisele Bundchen has been busy in her professional life and at home.

In a post from People on Wednesday, the supermodel opened up on how she handles life with her career and two kids with husband Tom Brady. As glamorous as it may be in her work, it doesn't come easy.

"I had to make some adjustments from what my life was like before I was a mom," Bundchen said. "My kids are so fun and loving, but they are also demanding!"

The best way for the model to keep everything balanced is going by a proper schedule meant for her and for everyone else.

"For me, making schedules are critical to make sure we attend to all the needs of the kids and our family," she said. "After adding everyone else's schedule on the calendar, I make sure that everyday I have some sacred time for myself so I can recharge."

Another way that Bundchen stays focused is by practicing meditation.

"I noticed every time I felt overwhelmed I would hold my breath," she explained. "I had to learn to stop, relax and take long deep breaths and within seconds I would feel more clear and ready to deal with the situation in a more loving way. Meditation also has been a wonderful tool. I notice that when I don't take the time to do it, I am not as centered, patient or clear."

Bundchen is a mom to Benjamin, 6, and Vivian, 3. Some things may happen in the model's life that she doesn't anticipate, but it's something she's learning to deal with.

"I had to accept that things were not going to happen as fast or exactly the way I expected," she said. "My kids mean the world to me- but they're demanding!"
