The Daytime Emmy Awards are once again upon the daytime TV community, and this year's awards could see an interesting race among the stars of Daytime's biggest dramas.

The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless are all up for several awards, including Best Drama Series and a large amount of acting awards. And while some races seem pretty cut and dry, others could be nail-biters until the winner is announced.

So who will win? Here are our predictions for who could win big:

Best Drama Series:

Winner: The Young and The Restless

Why it will win: Though it tied with Days of Our Lives last year, the show has been on a high the last few years, and also won in 2014. Though the other shows all had very impressive storylines, Y&R Seems like it could be hard to beat.

Outstanding Lead Actor:

Winner: Anthony Geary as Luke Spencer on General Hospital

Why he will win: Geary should be expected to win for the second year in a row for his moving performances in the final months during his tenure at GH. Geary left the show last summer, but not before delivering a powerful performance as his own evil alter-ego who was trying to remind him of the crimes he committed as a boy-the murders of his own parents.

Outstanding Lead Actress:

Winner: Kassie DePaiva as Eve Donovan on Days of Our Lives

Why she will win: Outside of an affair with her on-screen daughter's boyfriend and an attempt to revive her feud with Jen from their high school days, DePaiva wasn't given a lot of meaty storylines. Until her on-screen daughter, Paige, was murdered by the Necktie Killer. Watching DePaiva perform the role of a mourning mother was among some of her best work.

Outstanding Supporting Actor:

Winner: Jacob Young as Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful Whey he will win: Rick's breakdown over Caroline and Ridge's relationship earlier in the year, as well as his reaction when he learned that Maya was transgender gave Young the chance to tap into a more emotional, and sometimes, radical, side of his character.

Outstanding Supporting Actress:

Winner: Linsey Godfrey as Caroline Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful

Whey she will win: Caroline had a rough year in 2015. Not only did she suffer from a horrifying accident, but she married Ridge, and learned she was pregnant. Unfortunately, her happiness over the pregnancy was derailed when she realized Ridge couldn't be the father, and the baby was a by-product of a booze and drug-fueled hook-up with Thomas.

Outstanding Younger Actor:

Winner: Bryan Craig as Morgan Corinthos on General Hospital Why he will win: Craig wowed in 2015, and has been jaw-dropping thus far in 2016 as well, while portraying his character's struggles with Bipolar disorder. Morgan was diagnosed last year and had a series of manic episodes which proved that Craig knows what he's doing.

Outstanding Younger Actress:

Winner: Toss-up Between Hunter King as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless, Brooklyn Rae Silzer as Emma Drake on General Hospital and Ashlyn Pearce as Aly Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful

Why any of them will win: King is likely an odds-on favorite to win her third award in a row, but Silzer and Pearce could also pull surprise upsets. Silzer's emotional performances as she dealt with the pain of not really having a mother figure because of Robin's disappearance, especially after Sam and Patrick split were incredibly moving and awe-inspiring since Silzer is only 10 years old. Pearce's portrayal of a mentally unstable Aly Forrester was intriguing the entire time her character dealt with her issues, but the power and emotion behind her final storyline, where she tried to kill Steffy out of retribution for Taylor killing her own mother Darla years before, resulting in her own death, helped further propel a storyline that stunned fans worldwide.

The Daytime Emmys are on May 1.
