Is Lisa Vanderpump as manipulative as her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars claim?

During a recent event, Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz of Bravo's Vanderpump Rules spoke out about their co-star and friend.

"To me, it's surprising because usually, the way I see Lisa is cool, calm, collected, the voice of reason. And to hear [her] in the trenches, it's a surprise for me," Schwartz told The Daily Dish of the criticism Vanderpump has received.

"It's different in the world she lives in with the Housewives," Taylor added to The Daily Dish. "I don't understand that world, the things they argue and fight about."

"They're worse than us, by the way. They fight more than us," Schwartz said.

During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six, Vanderpump's co-stars, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, claimed Vanderpump had conned Rinna into making Yolanda Foster's illness their story line for the season.

"I don't know anything about manipulative people at all," Taylor admitted. "Like I said, I don't really watch [RHOBH] that much, so I'm kind of clueless on it, but I don't really see that happening."

"I've never really seen her be manipulative, but I will say she has a way with words. She can win you over very easily with her words," Schwartz explained. "[She's] very convincing. She's persuasive. And incredibly charming. Don't get me started on Lisa."

As for what Vanderpump is saying about the drama, she took to her Bravo blog earlier this week, where she slammed the bad behavior of her co-stars and thanked fans for their support.

Actions have consequences, consequences that are sometimes dire. You cannot rewrite history and piece back together fragmented relationships...You cannot absolve yourself from any responsibility just by muttering regret.

"I see things clearly now," Vanderpump wrote. "Clarity has descended, maybe I should've retaliated aggressively at the reunion, but I refuse to wallow in the murky quagmire in which they swim. It was an arduous few weeks that I emerged from bruised, but emotionally intact as I focus on all the positivities that life has to offer... Thank you to so many of you, as we stay steadfast in our resolve to fight Yulin. We are making headway as we are also challenging this politically, garnering much support."
