While Angela Simmons seemed to be excited to announce news of her engagement on Instagram Tuesday, much of her family has spoken about it in the public eye amid speculation that her fiancé is a convicted felon.

It's safe to say people really wanted to know what Simmons' father, Rev Run thought about her engagement. Now we know he's happy for her. He reposted the video she shared when she told the world about her engagement and added, "Congrats Angela!! Daddy loves you!!! I'm so happy for you!!"

Her brother, JoJo Simmons also shared the text Angela sent to reveal her engagement to him on Instagram. Angela told him simply, "He proposed" and showed a photo of her sporting the ring. JoJo kept his response simple with "Congrats" before complimenting her diamond. "Nice ring," he text to her.

Diggy Simmons also sent out his congrats.

Angela also hung out with her sister Vanessa Simmons just days after her announcement and Vanessa stayed mum on the upcoming wedding. She shared a selfie and revealed in the caption that she and her sister were getting a little retail therapy.

Still, she did share a cryptic tweet about family as well.
