Raven Symone had something to say about the woman who was forced out of a public bathroom after police refused to believe she was a female.

In a recent viral video, police are seen talking to an unidentified American woman who is telling the police that she is a "f-cking female." When the cops asked her for an ID, she said she didn't have one so the cops forced her out.

In the latest episode of The View, Symone opened up on the incident saying that while the police should not have treated her this way, the woman should have had her ID with her.

"First of all, my mom always told me to carry your wallet and ID wherever you go," the co-host said. "It's not fair she got treated that way, but at the same time, girl, put your wallet in your pocket."

Paula Faris then asked if this female should have presented identification.

Symone responded, "You know why? You don't have to make things go to that escalated. It's rude what they did, and it's bad that people treated her that way, but there's a way to defuse a situation. To defuse it, have your right papers."

Symone added that she has a friend who's a masculine woman and went through a similar situation in Beverly Hills when she was kicked out of a bathroom after cops didn't believe she was a female.

Faris then pointed out how she sees both sides of the situation, but at the same time, when it comes to public bathrooms, there's typically not much to think about.

"They're pretty private. I'm not seeing anybody," she said. "You're behind a door, you lock the door, you wash your hands, you leave."
