Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence almost experienced a wardrobe malfunction Tuesday on the set of her new film.
Lawrence was in Boston filming an as-yet-untitled film by acclaimed director David O. Russell when she had a fashion mishap. The 23-year-old was on her way to the set with a script in her hand when the paparazzi photographed the actress from an interesting angle.
When Lawrence walked down the steps of her trailer, she almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction: the Hunger Games actress had a near slip that revealed her nipples thanks to the deadly combination of an ample cleavage spilling out of a white dress with a plunging neckline.
Lawrence experienced two wardrobe malfunctions during awards season earlier in the year and both took place in front of a large crowd. It happened the first time at the 2013 SAG Awards on Jan. 27. When she made her way to the stage to accept the Oscar for Outstanding Female Actor in a Lead Role, her tiered Christian Dior Couture gown ripped in half. Last month, she tripped going up the stairs at the 2013 Oscars when she walked up to accept her Best Actress statuette in a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.
Lawrence is expected to attend the 2013 MTV Movie Awards later this month. It will be held at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, Calif. Comedic actress Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids, What To Expect When You're Expecting) will host this year's show.
Lawrence shares three out of her five 2013 MTV Movie Award nominations with her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper. Together they are listed in the categories for Best Musical Moment, Best Kiss and Best On-Screen Duo.
The 2013 MTV Movie Awards will air live on April 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
