Elizabeth is about to make some heads turn on the next episode of Reign.

On Monday, TV Line released a sneak peek of the next episode when Elizabeth goes over candidates to be her successor should she be next to die.

The queen says she's feeling "healthy and strong," but she's willing to take suggestions on who could be her heir. Someone comes up with Henry, who's a man of royal blood and would make a "fine king."

But this isn't who Elizabeth has in mind. Instead, she wants the one to take over the throne if she dies to be her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots.

This comes off as pretty surprising to others at the table who don't look too convinced that this is a good idea.

In a previous report from TV Line, Adelaide Kane (Mary) opened up on what's next following her adjustment with Scotland and what this means for her ruling.

"Mary's main focus is just getting back to Scotland and trying to re-establish her power in her homeland," the actress revealed. "She's attempting to take over as a queen in a country she hasn't been to since she was six-years-old. She's really finding her footing back in Scotland."

Kane also dished on Torrance Coombs, known for playing Bash on the show. Unfortunately, he won't be sticking around for the fourth season, but it sounds like he'll get a decent farewell.

"It's a bummer, but Bash doesn't have a lot of traction in Scotland," Kane said. "His storyline soon will come to its conclusion, and his character has other avenues to explore that might not necessarily be seen on screen."

Reign airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
