She announced she was expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha just earlier today, and Kerry Washington's burgeoning baby bump was on full display at this year's Met Gala! 

The Scandal star looked flawless in a black lace gown with thigh high slit by Marc Jacobs, which she paired with sheer polka-dot gloves-and a new purple hairdo!  

The outfit showed the first look at the actress's small baby bump, which protruded slightly from the gown but was highlighted beautifully.  

Congratulations to the actress on her impending bundle of joy!
