Backstreet's back.... or not? They might have been one of the biggest boy bands on the 1990s, but it looks like the Backstreet Boys are having a hard time convincing people that their comeback is real.

In fact, there's a new report that says their Las Vegas residency is already being considered a disaster, as no one is buying tickets to their shows.

According to Naughty Gossip on Tuesday, the band, which consists of A.J. McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell, are going to have to find another way to bring in their fans as no one is coming to see their shows. So far, they've been given a nine-show tryout, but at this point, there's very little hope that they'll be given a full-term residency.

One source told the site, "There is just no demand. The boys think it is still the 90's and want a huge amount of money but the fans have gone away. They are not JLO or Mariah but think they are in the same level. They want JLO money each! Thee is just no way it makes sense. They are giving the boys a 9 show tryout, but so hard they will be lucky to sell out one or maybe two."

So far, a rep for the Backstreet Boys has not made any comments about the report.
