Les Miserables actress Anne Hathaway is currently in talks to star in a new film, but she might be considering starting a family instead.

The film is Laggies and also stars Sam Rockwell and Chloe Mortez, according to Radar Online. However, a source told the publication Hathaway, 30, might be ready to take a break from acting and start a family with her husband Adam Shulman.

"It's a topic that came up after awards season, especially after Anne won the Oscar and felt justified in taking a break from making films," a source told the publication. "Her career has always been the most important thing to her, but now she's achieved so much already, she's thinking that becoming a mother should be her next big role."

Holly Scoop reported on March 10 that Hathaway said, "I wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I'm 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size, I gotta get on it."

The source for Radar Online added that Hathaway and Shulman are deciding if this is the right time to start a family, but wouldn't be surprised if the couple is pregnant before the year is over.

Hathaway and Shulman married in September 2012.
