It's not actually Mexico's Independence Day, though many are going to want to celebrate like it is with the Cinco de Mayo deals several restaurants will be offering in honor of the holiday!

May 5th, which actually commemorates the day that the Mexican Army beat French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, is often mistaken for Mexican Independence Day in places like the United States. As such, several restaurants will be celebrating the day with amazing deals on all kinds of Mexican inspired dishes and delicious drinks.

Here are all the deals you can get to properly celebrate Cinco De Mayo!

Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant: The chain has been holding a "Cindo Days of Trivia" event on its social media accounts, where those who participate can submit answers in the hopes of being among ten winners who get a free Queso VIP Card.  

Bahama Breeze: This deal for $5.00 Margaritas actually began on May 2, and will run through Cinco De Mayo itself

Carl's Jr.: With a coupon, but one Green Burrito and get one free through May 31

Chili's: Chili's will offer drink specials all day on Cinco De Mayo, with $5.00 Presidente Margaritas and $3.00 Dos Equis Beers

Margarita's Mexican Restaurant: The restaurant has been celebrating Cinco De Mayo all week with different deals and parties/celebrations planned throughout the week, which allow customers to unlock prizes and enter for a chance to win a trip to Mexico when they come in. May 4th will be a family-friendly celebration with 20 percent of participating guest checks going to charity, while May 5th will be a big party. May 6th will be a recovery party event.

Moe's Southwest Grill: Select locations will have burritos for just $5.00, as well as free T-shirts

On The Border: The chain's Cinco Rita will be available for just $4.00, served in a souvenir 14-oz. Cup. A variety of shots will also be available for $2, $3 or $4, while Dos XX and Corona Light Drafts or bottles will be just $3.00.

Sonic Drive-In: While not actually a Cinco De Mayo Promotion, the drive-thru chain is offering half-price 6 and 12-pc. Boneless wings for National Wingman Day.

Taco Bueno: With coupon, get either a free crispy taco with no purchase necessary, or 50 percent off an order of Big Freakin' Nachos through May 5.

Taco Cabana: Get over your Cinco De Mayo hangover from May 6-8, by getting a free breakfast taco on May 6 with coupon.

Taco Time: Crispy tacos will got for only $0.69 each all day

TGI Friday's: In addition to the usual Thursday deals of $3.00 Long Island Iced Teas, Mojitos and Margaritas as well as $5.00 Mozzarella Sticks, Pan-Seared Pot Stickers, Tuscan Spinach Dip, Crispy Green Bean Fries and Boneless Wings, there will also be special deals for Cinco De Mayo including $4.00 shots of Sauza Blue tequila and $5.00 23-ounce Dos Equis drafts.

Tijuana Flats: There will be a 48-hour fiesta with deals including a Tijuana Burrito, Chips and a drink for $5.99 with the ability to add a draft beer for just $1.00 additional on Thursday, and $2.00 Tacos on Friday.
