One Direction fans will be able to see their favorite United Kingdom boy band in a new documentary titled This Is Us, a 3D movie set to release in summer 2013.

Director Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) revealed some information about the band's upcoming documentary in a Twitter chat Wednesday. He said there have been "more shirtless moments than you can imagine" and added: "Now how many of those make it in to the final film, we'll have to wait and see."

Spurlock has been documenting the band's Take Me Home tour and trips to Europe and Japan to bring to the big screen, according to MTV. This is Us is scheduled to be released on Aug. 30.

Tickets for the film has not been posted on Fandago as of yet.

"The lads have been both in front of and behind the camera," he added. "There have been some really lovely emotional moments that we've captured. I think fans may shed a tear or two while watching. We spend a lot of down time with the band, with their families and friends. We really wanted you to see what their 'normal' lives are like."

He added, however, that viewers are guaranteed to see the band's crazy side as well: "You can't film 1D without capturing their wild side!

"And that fun attitude is infectious, it takes over the whole film crew," he said. "In my first meeting with them a food fight broke out with dinner rolls."

Spurlock has been chronicling his time spent filming with 1D all over his Twitter page. He posted a picture of Harry Styles in bed this week and early in February he debuted a teaser trailer for the documentary. The film's official trailer was released in February as well.

One Direction's Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were discovered by Simon Cowell on the U.K.'s The X Factor in 2010.
