Hailey Baldwin broke her foot earlier this week after attending the Met Gala in New York City.

While a foot injury may not necessarily be the craziest thing that has ever happened to the 19-year-old model, the injury ironically happened on the anniversary of a past incident with the same outcome.

Baldwin shared the first post on Tuesday morning, just hours after attending the fashion event, as well as an after party later on, and the following day, she revealed that her foot injury wasn't just an ankle sprain -- it was a broken foot.

Baldwin also shared the re-tweet below, which featured side-by-side photos of her past and present injuries.

Earlier this year, Baldwin was dating Justin Bieber, but a short time into their romance, the couple parted ways.

Months later, Baldwin opened up about dating someone in the public eye.

“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls…it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” she said during an interview with Marie Claire magazine, via Hollywood Life. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else."

Baldwin also hinted that she may have been hurt by one of her past boyfriends, but didn't mention Bieber by name.

"I’m the type of person where I let things slide. I push it to the side. And then finally explode every so often, but by myself," she explained.
