She was hauled in and questioned, accused of having killed Hale Garrett in an attempt to not only turn her case defending Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) back around, but ensuring her husband, Julian (William DeVry) stayed out of jail too, and now, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will want to know if there was at least some legitimacy to the claims Hale was murdered on General Hospital.

Anna (Finola Hughes) was sure that Alexis may have crossed over to the dark side and assisted Hale in overdosing to protect Julian, since she was the one to discover his body, and it happened not long after she tried harassing him into talking to her. She was freed to go after the preliminary report from the medical examiner suggested Hale had simply overdosed and there were no signs of a struggle. However, after realizing Julian might be hiding something when he adamantly defended her and claimed there was no way she could have been responsible will make Alexis suspicious, and she will demand to know if her husband is back in the mob, or if he had lied to her again about leaving it.

"Are you responsible for that man's death?" Alexis demands in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 5 episode.

Now, Julian may need to come clean to his wife, or find a way to truly convince her that he is free and clear, even though he has re-joined the mob recently, because he doesn't want to risk losing her for good this time.

Meanwhile, Anna won't be willing to let go of her theory that Alexis is the one who might have offed Hale, and will express her theory to Griffin (Matt Cohen). However, he will try to be the voice of reason, and though, like everyone else, he has no doubt that Julian was behind the convenient death, he will question whether Alexis would be willing to stoop to such a level.

"You said Julian had the witness killed. Are you sure that Alexis is involved?" He asks in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
