Veronica might be too smart for her own game on Banshee.

In a sneak peek of the next episode released on Thursday, Veronica (played by Eliza Dushku) is in the bedroom with Lucas where she starts to figure some things out about him. With her analysis, she reads the man pretty well, but what kind of outcome will this get both of them into?

Lucas is pacing back and forth as the special agent is sitting calmly in front of him. She notices that he can't keep himself still for more than second straight so she points that out to him. And not only does she see that Lucas is the type that always has to keep moving, but he has to be aggressive about it.

"The way you move, the way you pace...the way you want to push through every wall without even looking for the door or the key to that door," Veronica says in her theory.

What the woman is getting at is that Lucas's traits don't qualify him as someone who's just had a lot of training in law enforcement-- there's something much more sinister in there.

Lucas tries to defend himself, but Veronica is having more theories. She assumes that maybe there was a time where he needed to be still and this affected him so much that this is why he always has to be doing something now.

There's also the fact that the main character is always searching around him, which also doesn't show signs of a trained cop; this is someone who is dealing with something much more personal than that. And since he can't even make eye contact, he has more than just insecurities.

"You've got a secret," Veronica speculates. "Or...secrets."
