Kristen Stewart is reportedly a single gal again.

The actress has been known for dating her Twilight on-screen lover Robert Pattinson before calling it quits in 2012. And last fall, there was speculation that Stewart was in a relationship with her friend Alicia Cargile.

And now, earlier this year, the actress was apparently dating French singer Soko. But according to Thursday's report from Us Weekly, the girls have broken up.

It's unclear on what exactly went wrong, but a source told the site that Stewart and Soko may try to get back together in the future.

One potential theory could be the fact that Stewart is from America while Soko is from France and this could've been a difficult issue based on a report from Mirror.

"It's never going to be easy to have a relationship living in two different continents," a source told Heat. "The long-distance commute is fun right now, but it could become a real slog if they become fully committed."

One of the things that made this romance so great though is the chemistry these girls shared. So maybe this is why they might try to pick up where they left off whenever the timing is right.

"The relationship is sure intense and fiery- Soko is definitely the pursuer and Kristen is really enjoying it," the source said. "She likes the idea of dating a non-American again, and Stephanie is very avant-garde and different."

Stewart recently attended the 2016 MET Gals earlier this week where rumor has it she ran into her ex-boyfriend there-- along with his fiancee FKA Twigs. But according to Hollywood Life, there are no hard feelings there.

"From what [Stewart] could see [Pattinson and FKA Twigs] are perfect for one another," an insider said. "And when they greeted each other it was all very pleasant and there was no animosity now because it's all water under the bridge."
