Is Kristen Stewart realizing what she needs in a relationship?

According to Friday's report from Hollywood Life, a little spark may have happened for the actress when she apparently saw her ex Robert Pattinson at the 2016 Met Gala earlier this week. And this could've been the reason why it didn't work out between Stewart and her latest lover Soko.

"Seeing Rob at the Met Gala helped Kristen come to terms with ending her relationship with Soko," a source said. "She realized that she still hasn't found that deep connection with anyone since she was with Rob."

Stewart may not necessarily plan on getting back together with Pattinson, but she might still remember the bond they shared, which might give her an understanding on the type of romance she would like to have again.

"He was like her soulmate and that's what she's looking for in a relationship," the source said. "Hanging out with Rob, even for just a small amount of time, reminded her that what she's really yearning for is a soul bond. She's okay with holding out until she finds that kind of love."

It's unclear why Stewart and Soko called it quits, but in a previous report from Mirror, an insider mentioned that it was going to be hard to keep the relationship going if the actress is from America and her apparent girlfriend is from France.

"It's never going to be easy to have a relationship living in two different continents," the source told Heat. "The long-distance commute is fun right now, but it could become a real slog if they become fully committed."

Despite this, there was seemingly a reason why Stewart had fallen for Soko in the first place.

"The relationship is sure intense and fiery- Soko is definitely the pursuer and Kristen is really enjoying it," the source said. "She likes the idea of dating a non-American again, and [Soko] is very avant-garde and different."
