Kristen Stewart is rarely the type to discuss her dating life, something she is pretty aware of.

The actress spoke to Variety about all the commotion that gets speculated over who she might be in a relationship with. When she was with actor Robert Pattinson, they became one of the biggest celebrity couples in Hollywood. That didn't work out and rumor has it that Stewart started dating women.

Whether she falls for a man or a woman, odds are likely that the actress will continue to keep the intimate details to herself.

"When I was dating a guy, I would never talk about my relationships," she said. "I feel the same way now."

Stewart added that she's not hiding anything about herself. She also mentioned that when she's out in public and the paparazzi takes photos of her getting affectionate with a rumored girlfriend, that part actually doesn't bother her so much. This is because she wants young fans out there to see this.

"That's really important to me," Stewart said. "As much as I want to protect myself, it's not about hiding. As soon as you start throwing up so many walls, you cannot see over them yourself, so you just start isolating in a way that's not honest. I definitely found where I'm comfortable. I don't take credit for that."

Apparently, Stewart was in a relationship with French singer Soko, but according to Mirror, there were some issues from the start. It didn't really help that the girls lived in different parts of the planet.

"It's never going to be easy to have a relationship living in two different continents," a source told Heat. "The long-distance commute is fun right now, but it could become a real slog if they become fully committed."
