Kate Middleton only has a few months left in her pregnancy, but she is not letting her baby bump slow her down, as she was recently spotted playing basketball and ping pong during her visit to Scotland.

The Hollywood Life reported that during Middleton and Prince William's two-day tour in Scotland, the Duchess of Cambridge visited a homeless shelter in Glasgow, where she was showing off her athletic skills.

In the video below, Middleton seemed unsuccessful at shooting the basketball in the hoop after several attempts. She also played ping pong with Prince William and seem very happy as she was all smiles. The crowd in the background cheered the Duchess and her husband on as their played against each other.

Although the Middleton reportedly looked in excellent health, Prince William admitted that she couldn't participate as much as she wanted to.

"Catherine, who, you may have noticed, is limited a little in the sports she can play right now, has had to hold herself back from grabbing a tennis racquet and challenging me to a full game," he joked.

He said in a speech to the crowd at the shelter that he and his wife had fun at the shelter. "Catherine and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending part of this afternoon with you all at this impressive Donald Dewar Leisure Centre," according to The Mirror.

The athletic mother-to-be was dressed in her tartan coat, boots and tights.

Middleton also gave reporters a hint on when the royal baby will arrive.

"It's around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda," she said.

While the Duchess anticipates the arrival of her baby, she confessed that she wasn't a professional at knitting booties. When an onlooker reportedly presented her with a woollen hat, babygro and teddy bear for her baby when she visited the homeless shelter, Middleton joked and said she was "really bad" at knitting.

"I've been trying to knit and I'm really bad. I should be asking for tips," she said.

She thanked the onlooker for the gift and added: "It's very sweet of you, I'll keep it safe for the big day."
