It looks like he's an honorable man after all. Even though he's had his fair share of drama these past few months, it looks like Lamar Odom doesn't want to cash in on the one tragedy that has changed his life forever. There's a new report that says the former NBA star is refusing to accept money even though the Kardashians have been using photos of his hospitalization stay from late last year on their hit reality television show, Keep Up With The Kardashians.

Lamar almost lost his life during a near overdose after a three-day drug binge left him unconscious at a Nevada brothel back in October. He spent nearly three months recovering at a Los Angeles hospital, while many of his friends and family members feared that he would never be able to walk and talk again.

His ex-wife Khloe Kardashian managed to remain by his side during the entire time, yet now she and her family might be trying to capitalize on all the drama by dishing the details of Lamar's hospitalization for television ratings.

Yet, Lamar himself isn't upset about the exposure at all, according to Kardashian family insiders.

"It ain't about the money. He's not going to hound Khloe or her mother to pay him for making his near dear experience public," one source told Hollywood Life on Monday.

"Lamar wants to share this. He could have yanked the cord months ago but he chose not to. He thinks he's helping other people by sharing his story," the source added. "He also believes he's showing Khloe that he's a man who can face his demons head on. Part of all this is to impress Khloe and hopefully put their marriage back on solid foundation."
