Despite the fact that there have been numerous candidates for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie role of Anastasia Steele, there are also a few names that have inevitably fallen off the radar.

One actress that seems to have been lost in the mix, but clearly has all the right attributes for the role is Martha Marcy May Marlene's Elizabeth Olsen.

The 23-year-old sibling of Mary Kate and Ashley was actually brought up last year in chatter for the role, and even addressed the E.L. James's racy read in a July 2012 interview with Bullet.

"It's had a huge impact on society. Apparently rope sales have skyrocketed because women who've read the book are really getting into bondage, which is kind of great. It's such a taboo for women to actually discuss sexuality without the help of Cosmopolitan," she said.

"All of a sudden, this book has become a sensation because the women reading it haven't had access to this kind of thing before. I was talking to a guy who was making a joke about it, saying 'Clearly these women just need to watch porn.' In a way, he's right," Olsen added.

While former Gilmore Girls' standout Alexis Bledel, Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Harry Potter's Emma Watson appear to be the current fan favorites to nab the part of the shy, college alumni, Olsen could clearly be a sleeper for the saucy part, as she clearly fits the age range and has a naturally innocent beauty to her.

While the actress had previously shot down her interest in the Steele role, she actually revealed to Glamour in September 2012 that should would be down to do it if the script was right.

"Sure, if the script is any good," she said.
