Mike Shouhed went through a difficult time last year after his wife, Jessica Parido, filed for divorce after just eight months of marriage.

Although the Shahs of Sunset star appears to be in a great place currently, he opened up about his initial heartache during a recent apperance on Watch What Happens Live.

During the episode, as The Daily Dish reported on Monday, Shouhed admitted that he and Parido were still in touch after "going back-and-forth very aggressive with each other" for weeks after they parted ways.

Shouhed also said he "went through months of depression" before he "finally worked up the courage to start dating again."

After filing for divorce in late Nov. 2015, Parido spoke to In Touch Weekly, claiming she left Shouhed after discovering evidence proving he was unfaithful.

“Barely six months after our [March 29] wedding, I found endless texts with different girls that he would meet up with and have sex with. There were graphic text messages about sex and his penis size. It was disgusting," she told the magazine. “When I confronted him, he denied it and tried to make me feel like I was crazy, all the while erasing the messages off iCloud.”

“I can’t believe I was so naive,” she said. “I really thought I knew him — we were together for five years before we wed. Now divorce is my only option. I need to start putting my life back together.”

Parido went on to reveal that while Shouhed was sorry for his wrongdoings, she wasn't open to a reconciliation.

“Mike is remorseful. He wants me back, but that will never happen,” she said.

Months later, according to a recent interview with Life & Style, Parido had a change of heart.

“She wants to get back together,” Shouhed said. “She told me, ‘I miss you, I want to give it another chance.’”
