They've been frenemies for quite some time now and even though they've had their fair share of ups and downs, it looks like Caitlyn Jenner is reaching out to the one person she needs the most right now, and that's her ex-wife, Kris Jenner.

And while no one's sure if there will be any sort of reconciliation, rumor has it that Caitlyn is reaching out to Kris not because she misses her ex-wife, but because she needs her help with her own failing reality television show. Apparently, ratings for I Am Cait have sunk to an all-time low and now Caitlyn is looking to bring on Kris and perhaps even the rest of the Kardashian family before the E! network takes the show out to the chopping block.

According to In Touch Weekly's print edition this week (via Gossip Cop, apparently Caitlyn also wants to get back on Keeping Up With the Kardashians but it looks like the Kardashian family matriarch is having a hard time fitting Caitlyn--and any of her potential story lines--in her rotation.

A source says, "the offers have stopped coming in .... She feels like her 15 minutes of fame have finally come to an end!" But sources say "there just isn't room" for Caitlyn to be back on the show full time .

Caitlyn quit the show when she came out as a transgender woman on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine last summer. Since then, she's been keeping her distance from the rest of the Kardashian family--which also includes her two daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner--while working on her own projects.

So far, neither Caitlyn nor Kris have made any comments about the rumors.
