It was an adorable moment when VH1’s Black Ink Crew star Ceaser popped the question to Dutchess. But now the two have explained why they still have yet to tie the knot.

And apparently it has a lot to do with that moment Ceaser had with Sophia The Body.

Dutchess revealed to the network recently, “After the reunion I felt very disrespected. Ceas lied to me. Why would you violate what this ring means?”
Ceaser then revealed that the two “split ways for a second” so Dutchess could decide how she wanted to move forward.

“I was really sorry about that whole with Sophia The Body. At the end of the day it wasn’t as serious to me.”

Dutchess explained that she took off her ring the same day as the reunion and refused to put it back on finger until she really felt like she could trust Ceaser and that he really wanted to be with her.

“I felt like the ring didn’t mean a thing. So I took it off to hurt him,” she said.

While Ceaser “took fault” in everything that went down between him, Dutchess and Sophia, he went on to say that he had no interest in Sophia but made it clear that he could have her if he wanted to.

Dutchess said they also have to learn how to deal with their “differences” and improve how they communicate with one another.

“We are a real relationship. We got ups and downs like everybody else. Everything ain’t gonna be perfect.”

Ceaser added that they still have lots of “things to work out” but said they would eventually get married if they are “meant” to.

Black Ink Crew airs Mondays at 9/8c on VH1.
