ABC's The Good Wife is set to return with an all-new season 4 episode on April 14.

Peter (Chris Noth) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies), who haven't exactly had the most drama-free of relationships, will reportedly continue to build tension with each other, according to Carter Matt.

Although there is indeed friction between the couple, Peter will stand up for the relationship to the general public.

ABC's official synopsis for the  20th episode, which is titled A More Perfect Union has already been revealed, and states the following:

"Alicia represents a group of software coders in a contract dispute as a favor to her mother, but the case causes unexpected consequences to the firm.  Meanwhile, Peter asks Alicia to renew their vows and Kalinda plays two sides of the firm against each other."

Just off the end of her cancelled CW series Emily Owens MD, the site also reported that actress Mamie Gummer will be making her comeback to The Good Wife

To top it off, they'll also be a guest spot filled by none other than host Charlie Rose from CBS This Morning.

The Good Wife is set to make its return on Sunday, April 14 on the ABC network at 9/8c.
