NCIS's farewell to Tony DiNozzo will showcase a side of Michael Weatherly's character that you've never seen before.

It's been 13 years since we meet Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) right hand man--a young, cocksure agent, who, despite his roguish charm and eye for the ladies, was damn good at his job. Years of high-stakes cases, love, and loss have put Tony through the ringer, but he's (almost) always managed to come out on top. "Family First," however, will throw out a twist he just can't bounce back from.

"Mission Impossible-style, the fuse has been lit," Weatherly told TV Line. "You're going to be very surprised by a lot of what unfolds next week."

When the season 13 finale comes to an end, Tony will make a move that had Weatherly completely blown away. If you can shock the man who has spent over a decade learning the ins and outs of the very special agent, you're definitely going turn a few heads.

"I discovered an aspect of DiNozzo that had never been revealed before, and it truly surprised me," Weatherly told TV Guide. "In that scene, I didn't recognize any Michael Weatherly at all, and very little Tony DiNozzo. It was more like DiNozzo to give Gibbs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation than this thing that he does in the last episode."

Is this due to desperation? Ziva's (Cote de Pablo) alleged hideout went up in smoke at the end of "Dead Letter", and her unknown fate will have Tony on edge (check out the video below). What twists will come his way during episode 23?

"NCIS, FBI and MI6 continue an international manhunt for an escaped British spy who is targeting current and former agents, on the 13th season finale of NCIS," CBS teased.
