A dark cloud will settle over Daisy Johnson as she enters into one of Agents of SHIELD's darkest finale's to date.

Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team will be hit with a devastating loss during "Absolution" and "Ascension," and, as far as Daisy (Chloe Bennet) knows, there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. The series has been dancing around the ideas of fate and destiny all season, first in relation to Inhuman powers and now in regards to William's visions.

Burdened with this knowledge and devastated by her recent behavior, Daisy will have a metric ton of emotional baggage weighing her down.

"I was surprised with how angry and distant they wrote her, which I liked, because I was expecting an immediate, softened apology," Bennet tells Entertainment Weekly. "She's so deeply broken up about it that she can't even expose how she actually feels to her team. She's so upset that she feels like she can't even look at the team, let alone be upset about it in front of them."

Unfortunately for Quake, the events of the finale will exponentially increase her crushing guilt. Hive (Brett Dalton) is poised to turn the earth into a world of Primitives, and in SHIELD's efforts to stop him, someone will have to make the ultimate sacrifice. Considering Daisy's blood is responsible for realizing Hive's diabolical plans, the agent will feels as if she bears the responsibility for any and all live lost in the coming battle.

"So much happens that I'm not sure we'll even deal with that until next season fully," Bennet previewed. "You see in the finale that guilt weigh incredibly heavy on her shoulders."
