Something "fairly terrible" has happened on Wynonna Earp, no doubt about it.

Dolls (Shamier Anderson) is gone, and, in the wake of his departure, the revenant demons of Purgatory have upped their game. We all know the series' guns lining heroine is more than capable of handling herself, but even Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) has her limits. As far as viewers know, Haught's (Katherine Barrell) bloody patrol car could be a sign that the Earp family luck (now that's an oxymoron if I ever heard one) may have just run out.

"Wynonna set out these very specific goals for herself early on in this first season, which she is gonna specifically target the seven revenants who attacked her homestead and killed her father and her sister," showrunner Emily Andras told TV Line. "She's had an okay time of it...[but] Obviously there's something different about this last of the seven. What are we going to say, except that obviously she and Nicole Haught drove off in the patrol car at the end of the episode and something probably fairly terrible has happened to them, considering that it's empty and there was a lot of blood there."

The seventh revenant has an ace of spades calling card and a penchant for murdering woman. Wynonna and Haught seem just his type, and Andras confirmed our suspicions.

"I would say so," the EP teased when asked if fans are safe in their presumption that the card sharp has absconded with the town's saviors.

Based on the name of the series' next episode, the baddie's card-wielding days are not over. Check out the summary for "Two-Faced Jack" below:

"Henry and Dolls put aside their differences to infiltrate a Revenant hive; at the same time, Wynonna refuses to be a serial killer's next victim," Syfy teased.
