Former VH1 Hollywood Exes star Mayte Garcia has taken another step to make sure that the memory of her late ex-husband, iconic singer Prince, is not forgotten.

She took to Periscope over the weekend to reveal that she would be getting a tattoo in remembrance of Prince, who passed away at 57-years-old on April 21.

“I’m gonna do a tattoo in honor of my ex-husband. I don’t like saying ex… Because in my world, I didn’t divorce him. He did. Thank you for my loss. It sucks. It sucks,” she said.

Still, she wanted the tattoo to “honor” the time they were together and she had zero cares about what anybody thought about it.

“He’s the father of my child,” she said.

Garcia and Prince welcomed a baby boy in the late nineties, but he passed away at just one week old.

Garica then panned the camera to her adopted daughter, Gia, before describing the tattoo parlor as “creepy.”

She said Prince “wasn’t tattooed” but added, “he should’ve been. His whole body should’ve been tattooed. But I won’t continue with that…”

She revealed she would be doing a “hidden symbol” to recognize the time they were still going strong. She said she was “nervous” as she has been “waking up with a knot in my stomach and pain my heart,” but that the tattoo would help her to cope with her pain.

No word on what the final product looks like. But we’ll definitely be keeping our eye on it. Stay with Enstars for the latest.
