Just weeks after being slapped with a slander lawsuit following comments Arsenio Hall had supplied Prince with drugs for years before his death, Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has gone missing.

O'Connor was reportedly last seen on Sunday, May 15, when she went out on a bicycle ride around 1 p.m. in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, but never returned. An unidentified person notified police of her disappearance and they are not searching for her, worried she could be suicidal.

According to TMZ, she was last seen on a Raleigh motorized bike with a pink basket, wearing a black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with "Ireland" written on the back of it.

The diseappearnace came on the heels of a series of troubling posts directed towards her kids, Jake and Shane, and the ability to get Shane removed from Ireland's protective services, TUSLA.

She initially posted an open letter to Shane, 12, on May 13, encouraging him to get a lawyer so he could be taken out of foster care, and sharing troubling words that she could no longer continue the fight because doing so continued to make her ill.

"...I have to back off because they are hurting me so badly I get unwell again if I go near them. The best thing I can do is advise you get a solicitor of your own which you are now entitled to because you are 12 and bring a case of your own against Tusla, under the Children's rights clauses of the constitution. You're entitled to bring a case and to have your voice heard," she wrote. "...Your mother is being bullied so badly by Tusla she can't manage your release. Your lawyer will have to do it for you. If no one wants you to come to me then insist on going to Jake. You deserve better than the way you're currently being looked after."

She later posted on the morning she disappeared to address Jake, requesting he fight for custody of his brother, and appearing to threaten him for his role in Shane's being placed in the agency's care.

"Jake, kindly go to the court on Tuesday and take custody your brother from Tusla. My lawyer will be making the illegal way yourself and Donal got him into Tusla (lying to the cops etc) known to the judge," she wrote. "Expect to be in trouble. In fact you'd best bring a lawyer of your own. And do not abandon your brother or any other of my babies again. What you have done to your brother and your mother is LITERALLY criminal."

The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing.

UPDATE: O'Connor has been found safe though details about where she was found and what state she was found in are not available.
