New information has come out on episode 21 of season 4 of ABC's hit TV show The Good Wife, which is titled A More Perfect Union.

ABC had put out the following official synopsis for the respective installment, which is slated to come out on April 21:

"Alicia represents a group of software coders in a contract dispute as a favor to her mother, but the case causes unexpected consequences to the firm. Meanwhile, Peter asks Alicia to renew their vows and Kalinda plays two sides of the firm against each other."

As mentioned, the episode will feature Alicia (Julianna Marguiles) doing her mother a favor by representing a bunch of software coders in a dispute over a contract, but the case is said to result in unanticipated repercussions for the firm, according to Hollywood Hills.

It also appears as though Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) will find herself in a compromising position, as she's on two sides of the firm against one another.

Meanwhile, Peter (Chris Noth) will be asking Alicia to renew their wedding vows, as he's also set to be standing up for the relationship to the general public, according to Carter Matt.

However, the couple, who hasn't exactly had the most drama-free of relationships, will reportedly continue building tension with each other, stated the site.

Just off her cancelled CW series Emily Owens MD, Mamie Gummer is set to make her comeback to The Good Wife. There will also be a guest spot filled by none other than host Charlie Rose from CBS This Morning.

The Good Wife is set to make its return on Sunday, April 14 on the ABC network at 9 p.m. EDT. A promo trailer for the upcoming episode can be viewed below.
