Well, it seems that famous exes Ciara and Future’s lawsuits against each may have actually resulted in court appearances.

According to Twitter user @cellorockit, the two were in a courthouse together recently:

It's unclear the exact reason the two would be in a courtroom together--if it was for a specific hearing or a deposition--or even if this guy on Twitter is making up seeing them (this is the Internet after all). BUT the timing does match with Ciara sharing a cryptic tweet that could be interpreted as a having something to do with her legal battle with Future.

ICYMI, Ciara is suing Future for $15 million over statements the rapper made about her in interviews and on social media (they're not getting a divorce as the sharp-eyed fan above tweeted, since they were never married).

According to court papers filed on behalf of Ciara (via The Jasmine Brand): “Following the parties’ break-up, both plaintiff and defendant embarked on new personal relationships...However, it is important to note that given Plaintiff’s celebrity status, her relationship with her current significant other became highly publicized in April, 2015, and has been subject of media attention since that time. Plaintiff’s new significant other is also a public figure.”

The blog also reports that Ciara believes Future created the feud over her fiancé Russell Wilson spending time with their son, Baby Future, to drum up media attention for his album and that her blossoming relationship with the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has “tormented” the "Jumpman" rapper.

For his part, Future fired back with a countersuit arguing that his comments (including referring to the singer as b**ch on twtter) were not defamatory and adding that her career isn't a “successful" one and hasn’t been for several years.

UPDATE 1:30 p.m. ET: It seems the court appearance had NOTHING to do with the Ciara and Future's lawsuits against one another, but was over their child, Future Jr. According to TMZ, the couple had a hearing in which Ciara and her lawyers argued for full custody of the two-year-old. But the judge ruled in Future's favor and the two exes will have to keep sharing joint custody.
