It's already been announced that Deadpool was getting a sequel...but will there be more movies beyond that?

On Sunday, Cinema Blend posted details from T.J. Miller who plays Weasel in the first film. When he opened up on the sequel, he not only said that several more Deadpool movies could happen, but his character might even get his own spin-off.

"Deadpool is not going anywhere anytime soon," Miller said. "I think there's probably going to be three more installments, a Weasel spinoff. I'm contractually obliged to do the cameos in other X-Men universe stuff, so there's plenty more Deadpool to come."

As for a potential Weasel film, the actor revealed why that's something he's strongly anticipating.

"I'm excited about the prospect of a Weasel spin-off because he makes this super suit, that's not great and it's a superhero in Las Vegas protects casinos," he said. "I mean, it just, everything about it is perfect for me...what if the Iron Man suit was sort of budget, like he can't fly, but he can hover three or four feet."

One character that fans can likely expect in the sequel is Cable, someone who will have major differences from the leading superhero, according to director Tim Miller.

"There's a lot about Cable's history that I like because he's so intertwined with the world of X-Men," Miller told IGN. "Why he was put together for Deadpool- other than that he was in a comic that wasn't selling well and Deadpool was in a comic that wasn't selling well so they put them together- it's the same reason we had Colossus; he's a straight man. And I think Deadpool needs a straight man."

Deadpool 2 is expected to hit theaters sometime next year.
