Hawaii Five-0 is not done with Catherine Rollins.

The Navy lieutenant and McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) longtime love interest departed the series way back in season 4, and fans were sorry to see her go. Although both Steve and Five-0 have since moved on, Michelle Borth's character still makes a surprise appearance every now and then.

As the series moves forward, viewers should keep their eyes peeled for a Catherine sighting. In fact, showrunner Peter Lenkov seriously considered dropping Rollins into the finale action.

"I really did, and here was my dilemma: I brought her back in the finale last season, and I didn't want to replay that moment of him laying on his deathbed and her coming in, because it would feel very similar to last year, even though it was not a life-and-death situation, it was Kono's (Grace Park) wedding," Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly. "It just would have felt like similar territory. I want to bring her back in a different way than what we did last year. To be honest with you, she was in the first draft of the script I wrote, but I ended up taking her out, because it just felt very similar to last season."

Even if Catherine isn't there in person, she's still on her friends' minds. A little spy trouble caused McGarrett and Co. to learn that their former coworker wasn't entirely truthful about her trip to Nepal, and Five-0 had to double down to keep her top secret mission on the down low.
