Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars is officially coming to an end Tuesday night, and it's looking to possibly be the closest battle in a long time.

Nyle DiMarco, Paige VanZant and Ginger Zee (and their respective partners) competed for America's vote one final time Monday night. The performance finale was packed with amazing routines, half of which the judges gave perfect scores.

DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd, VanZant and Mark Ballas and Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy received perfect scores for their respective freestyles, but slightly different scores for their unlearned dances. VanZant did best with a 29 out of 30, with Zee getting a 28 out of 30 and DiMarco bringing up the rear with a 27 out of 30.

With the scores so close together, it's anyone's guess who might win Dancing With the Stars this year. Either way, the remaining couples are nervous for the end result.

"Honestly, I'm probably going to be too wired [tonight] to sleep," DiMarco said after the show, with Murgatroyd adding. "I definitely won't be sleeping. Tomorrow is the most nerve-racking of them all, coming in with a suitcase [to travel to New York City] and not knowing what the outcome is."

"You never know what's going to happen, but the most important thing and what I think always depicts the champion at the end, is how strong the team is," Ballas said. "When you can tell there is genuine care and love for one another, and when the dances are executed correctly, [that's when the magic happens]. Look back over the seasons at some of the best teams-Rumer [Willis] and Val, Alfonso [Ribeiro] and Witney, Derek and Kellie [Pickler], me and Shawn [Johnson]-you look at these teams and they were one [unit] when they got out there."
