It has only been a few days since Tamar Braxton was fired from the hit daytime talk show The Real. And now more details are coming out about what was happening on the set of the show that are said to have been factors in the show’s decision to let her go.

An insider spilled the tea to blogger B. Scott, who was the first to report the breaking news that Braxton was fired over the weekend. (There have been rumors that claim he is friends with Braxton’s now former co-host Loni Love; so Loni has been accused of possibly being the leak as well as knowing that Braxton would be fired)

Apparently the show conducted focus groups and Braxton’s alleged “ghetto” persona didn’t sit well with those who participated. She also reportedly had one particular incident that is said to have been a huge turning point.

“During the final tapings of ‘The Real’ in early May, the show’s executive producer had reached her breaking point with Tamar, who cursed her out in earshot of other staffers on set after being upset she lost a game during the taping. It was an ugly scene,” the site reported.
Apparently Pinterset was the official sponsor for the particular game.

“She really acted out during the taping in front of the studio audience and then exploded behind-the-scenes once the show was done.”
But viewers won’t see this if they watch it back because it was edited to hide Braxton’s supposed breakdown.

“Let’s just say she was becoming unbearable to work with,” the insider continued.

As for the focus group, Braxton’s key phrases like “get your life,” “where they do that at,” and “have several seats,” is said to have not been a match for the “educated and working women” that the show wants to reach. Instead, they said Braxton might be a better fit with RuPaul’s Drag Race show that airs on Logo.

“The research went on to say that most educated working women found her to be ‘ghetto’ and that her aggressive eye-rolling, neck-rolling and the smacking of her mouth were indicative of ‘stereotypical behavior that African American women have worked years to overcome.’”
