The Nurse's Ball has officially begun and the opening number has been sung, and even though the usual interruption was foiled, that doesn't mean drama and chaos won't bring some trouble to the yearly event on General Hospital.

Obrecht's (Kathleen Gati) penchant for interrupting the opening number with a performance of her own was halted when some nurses carried her off. However, the ball is known for being a time and place where secrets are exposed and new problems come to light, and things won't be any different this year.

Similar to how she was trying to expose Ric (Rick Hearst) for hiring Hayden (Rebecca Budig) to pose as Jason's (Billy Miller) wife when everyone thought he was Jake last year, Carly (Laura Wright) is once again dead-set on getting back at one of her enemies this year. This time, her focus is on Ava (Maura West), who has become determined to take Avery back from Sonny (Maurice Benard) again first thing tomorrow morning. Carly broke into Ava's home to find the flash drive with her taped confession to having killed Connie Falconeri on it, and is now prepared to play what she found for everyone at the ball to hear and see.

"Your ass is mine," she says gleefully in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 25 episode.

Backstage, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) fell ill and passed out, and now, someone will rush to her side in the hopes that they can revive her in time. And she won't be the only member of the Spencer/Jones clan who could be in trouble.

Though there for the opening number, cheering on his soon-to-be husband Brad (Parry Shen), Lucas (Ryan Carnes) seems to have since disappeared completely, and with the wedding set to go down any minute now as a surprise addition to the Ball, Felix (Marc Samuel) will notice his absence and try to see if Brad knows what happened.

"Did you misplace your fiance?" He asks in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
