Kristen Stewart celebrated her 23rd birthday with boyfriend Robert Pattinson on April 9. The two kept their evening low-key, but looked happy at the celebration.

The Twilight couple went for a dinner at Malo Taqueria, a restaurant in Los Angeles, and then headed to the No Vacancy bar afterwards for drinks, according to Hollywood Life. Stewart’s friends came including CJ Romero and Scout Taylor Compton.

"@Sery21380 they were. A whole bunch of K's friends were at Malo (prolly for dinner) -- the same place Rob was. pics on locked insta accts," tweeted Taylor Compton, adding:

“Oh my, what now? No, they all went to d same place. The gang were at Malo (for dinner I guess) n then they went to No Vacancy.”

The group danced the night away at Stewart's celebration, with Taylor Compton tweeting early Wednesday morning:

Even though Stewart celebrated her birthday with some friends and Pattinson, the two will continue to celebrate the occassion into the weekend.

Stewart said in the report that spending time with her boyfriend is the best birthday present for her, but if she were to want a gift from Pattinson, it would be another rescue dog.
