America's Got Talent is welcoming Simon Cowell to the judges' table, which is bound to be an exciting season.

Cowell is known for speaking the truth and telling it like it is on other reality competitions like American Idol, The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. Now he's joining Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B on the NBC series airing on Tuesday, May 31.

On Monday, Access Hollywood shared an interview with Cowell who dished on the series and the way the promo presented him as a Hannibal Lector. As comical as he found this to be, the judge admitted that it was still painful to film this.

"It wasn't my idea, but I had this mask made and I thought it would take about five minutes. It took like an hour and a half, bloody thing, bandages. It was like dying," he said. "But then I saw it and it was actually very funny."

It was also questioned if Cowell has a hot and cold relationship with Sharon Osbourne who was a judge on the competition a while back. When Cowell was asked if he would ever work with Osbourne on the series, he didn't seem too awkward about it.

"She was on for a couple of seasons, I think she and I are gonna work on the show together in the U.K," he said. "So we mainly have a love relationship."

It was also announced that Obsourne and her husband, Ozzy, were ending their marriage after 33 years. Rumor has it that Ozzy's wife found some emails that could've led to the split and Cowell definitely feels for her.

"When it's public, it's embarrassing. Right?" he said. "So it's bad enough when it happens, if it's true. But when it's public as well, it's not great."
