Johnny Depp's divorce from Amber Heard is going to be a messy one.

Just three days after the tragic death of Depp's mother, Betty Sue Palmer, his wife of just 15 months filed for divorce and requested she be granted spousal support.

"Amber filed her divorce petition Monday, citing irreconcilable differences," TMZ reported on Wednesday.

Depp and Heard tied the knot last February and apparently, they had no prenup. Yep, you heard that right. Depp, who has an estimated net worth of $400 million did not sign a prenuptial agreement before marrying Heard, who is worth just $4.5 million.

"It's especially harsh because Johnny was extremely close to his mother. She says in the divorce docs that they separated on May 22 ... 2 days after Johnny's mom passed," the outlet continued.

In a second report by TMZ, it was noted that Depp's family allegedly "hated" Heard and felt she was using the actor for fame and fortune.

"Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's relationship was extremely bitter due to a full-blown feud between his family and Amber," the outlet explained on Thursday. "Johnny's 2 teenage kids, his 2 sisters and his mom 'hated' Amber, and openly discussed it."

Sources even claimed Herd would "rail" on Depp and "treat him like crap."

"[Depp's mom] often told friends she thought Amber was using Johnny for his money and fame, and to boost her own career," sources explained.

After Depp moved his mother into his Los Angeles home earlier this year, she and Heard reporteldy had a couple of sit-downs and afterwards, Palmer allegedly called Heard a "terrible person."

"Before Betty Sue moved in, she only saw her son once from the time he married Amber, and both Betty Sue and Johnny blame her for keeping them apart so she'd have full control," the outlet explained.

After filing for divorce, Heard stepped out in Beverly Hills, Calif. for a solo shopping trip at Tiffany's.
