Welcome to high school, Girl Meets World!

Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) will kick off their freshman year with a special two-part premiere and the realization that ninth grade is not at all what they expected. They were once big fish in a little pond, but now they're at the bottom of the pecking order and faced with a textbook full of confusing questions.

What's my identity? Will I drift apart from my best friend? Why is Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) swinging from a chandelier? Dive into a brave new world with the BFFs in "Girl Meets High School: Parts 1 & 2" (see promo below).

"Riley, Maya, Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Farkle are now freshmen in high school, and quickly learn what it is like to no longer be "kings" of the school," Disney teased in preparation for the June 3 and June 5 two-parter. "As the group continues to adjust to the rigors of high school, some decide to join sports teams while others participate in academic clubs."

As some of the tens head off to exercise their noggins, TV Line promises that Lucas and Zay (Amir Mitchell-Townes) will honor their Texas roots as they take to the gridiron. Tryouts will put the boys under the tutelage of Mike & Molly's Billy Gardell, now known as Coach Bobby Campagnola.

For Riley, however, settling into high school won't be quite so easy. Titled "Girl Meets Jexica," episode 3 will see Riley hide behind a new username as she tries to fit in with her peers.

"Riley creates an online alter-ego, Jexica, when she doesn't feel confident that her new high school classmates will like the real her," Disney said of the June 10 episode. In keeping with the theme of responsible online behavior, "Cory and Topanga struggle with Auggie's internet usage."

Catch up with Riley, Maya, Lucas, and Farkle starting June 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Tune back in for "Girl Meets High School: Part 2" at 8:30 p.m. ET on June 5.
