Jay Z normally stays quiet about the alleged family drama that surrounds him and Beyonce. But since she was the one to spark the latest round of rumors with her hit album Lemonade, it didn’t waste too much time in breaking his silence.

And he did it in a song of his own. Well actually, he addressed in his verse of the remix of Remy Ma, Fat Joe & French Montana’s popular song All The Way Up.

Jay Z raps, “You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions… Lemonade is a popular drink and still is… Survival of the lit-est… N****s who’s really up versus n****s up in your business.”

While it’s still not clear what exactly Jay Z was trying to say in the verse, he went on to dish on the alleged secret and unreleased songs that later singer Prince has stored up in Jay Z’s music streaming company Tidal.

“Prince left his masters where they safe and sound/We never gonna let the elevator take him down."

Interestingly enough, Prince was allegedly found unconscious in the elevator when he was pronounced dead on April 21. But Jay Z has had an elevator experience of his own after his sister-in-law, Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles attacked him in an elevator during the 2014 Met Gala festivities. It’s still not clear why Solange wanted to get physical and why Beyonce didn’t stop her.
