Gigi Hadid has surfaced in Los Angeles as rumors regarding her possible split from Zayn Malik continue to swirl.

As the 21-year-old model and her former One Direction singer beau remain silent in regard to their relationship status, Hadid stepped out in the City of Angels.

"She's an inspiration in the world of high fashion, but even models need a sartorial break at times. And Gigi Hadid looked to be enjoying a day off from all the glamour as she stepped out for some errands on Thursday in Los Angeles," the Daily Mail reported on Friday. "The 21-year-old Victoria Secret model kept her ensemble quite simple for the outing, donning a dark Rolling Stones tank top, white drawstring sweatpants and spotless white trainers."

Hadid and Malik's relationship began at the end of last year after her split from former boyfriend Joe Jonas. Then, earlier this month, two weeks after Hadid's 21st birthday, the relationship allegedly came to an end.

“Zayn broke the news to Gigi two weeks after her birthday,” a source told Life & Style, via Hollywood Life earlier this week. “He sat her down at dinner and told her how he felt... Zayn told Gigi that he wanted to keep his options open and work on himself. Gigi was shocked because she thought they were a perfect couple. She is absolutely heartbroken and has been feeling really sad ever since.”

Weeks later, a second source told Life & Style that Malik had been texting ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards behind her back.

“Gigi keeps catching Zayn talking to his ex-fancee [Perrie]. Gigi has had it,” a source told the magazine, via Hollywood Life. “She’s told him that if she catches him talking to his ex again, it’s over for good.”

According to the source, Edwards contacted Malik to “discuss some items she still has of his,” and his relationship with Hadid was “definitely on the rocks.”

“He’s told her he’s just not sure he can fully commit to her,” the insider added. “He’s enjoying his fame and may want to keep his dating options open.”
