He has been trying to get his way back into Newman with liitle success since the only person who believes he is genuine is Summer (Hunter King), and Luca's (Miles Gaston Villanueva) true motives may finally come to light on The Young and the Restless.

No matter what anyone tells her about her new romance with him, Summer has refused to listen and insists that Luca isn't using her to find his way not only back into Newman Enterprises, but to potentially try and beat out all of the Newmans for the CEO chair. In addition, his encouraging her to go behind Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) back to deal with some business while she was out also led to some other issues with her. Now though, with Victoria still unreachable as a big crisis faces the company due to a leak at a Newman Oil platform, he will turn things up another notch in his efforts to get ahead.

Summer and Noah (Robert Adamson) will be panicked when they can't reach Victoria to make a statement to the press, and Luca will take advantage of the moment by claiming he got in touch with her, and that she had made a shocking decision about their course of action.

"I just spoke with Victoria," he says in a preview clip for the Monday, May 30 episode. "She wants Summer to talk to the press."

Summer will be stunned by the declaration and Noah will be unsure if he's really telling the truth, but with Victoria not around or picking up her phone, they'll have no choice but to go ahead with the interview. However, Victoria will show up as they finish, and she will want to know why they were in her office and what they were doing.

"Why do I not have an update? What's going on?" Victoria asks.

Afterwards however, the truth about Luca scheming will come out when Noah pays Billy (Jason Thompson) a visit, and learns Victoria found out about the oil crisis from him, and never spoke to Luca. Because of that, he will know that Luca played everyone once again, and will try to warn his sister one more time about her being involved with him.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
