Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might not be ready to make things official just yet, but they sure are getting there. Even though earlier reports indicated that Stefani had rejected Shelton's marriage proposal, apparently she did get another type of ring from him.

According to Star Magazine's print edition over the weekend (via Music-News.com), the country star gave Stefani a "promise ring," indicating that he definitely sees a future with the singer, even though she's not ready to become Mrs. Shelton yet.

One source close to the couple dished, "Blake surprised Gwen with it. It's more of a promise ring. They want to get married and have been looking at engagement rings, but he just wanted to get her something special sooner to show his feelings. It's a matter of time before she's sporting a big rock on that finger. They're so in love."

There are also rumors that say Stefani's not ready to get married as she's concerned that her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo might not be ready for the transition yet. Stefani pulled the plug on her marriage to Gavin Rossdale after over ten years of marriage following allegations that he might have cheated on her.

So far neither Stefani nor Shelton have made any comments about the proposal rumors.
