While news of Tamar Braxton getting fired from The Real is still making headlines more than a week later, rumor has it that Braxton has suffered another hit in her career.

Just after the television show released a statement that Braxton was leaving in a mutual decision to focus on her solo singing career, reports claimed that she was also dropped from Epic record label.

“Sadly, there’s no solo career to concentrate on,” an insider told Daily Mail earlier this month. “After being previously dropped from five record labels prior to landing at Epic, she’s now been dropped a sixth time and will have to start all over again.”

Apparently low sales was the reason the record label allegedly decided to drop her.

But thankfully for Braxton and her Tamartian fans, the report has been shut down as completely false.

“Tamar didn’t get dropped,” one Epic executive told Bossip. “The rumors are not true.”

Rumors swirled that Braxton was fired from The Real on May 21. The show released a statement the next day and said the Braxton not returning to the show was a mutual decision between both parties.

“’The Real’ and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with ‘The Real’ appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

They also gave Braxton what looked like an official send-off via Instagram.
