In the trailer for season 2 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta, viewers see rapper Lil' Scrappy get cozy not only with his fiancee' Erica Dixon, but his "good friend" Shay "Buckeey" Johnson.

As taping for season 2 went underway in Atlanta on Wednesday, the drama with Dixon and Johnson reached new heights. Sources close to the show's production revealed that the two LHHA stars were attending a launch party for their co-star Karli Redd and as soon as they saw each other, they had an argument that led to a physical altercation.

An eyewitness shared the account with Media Takeout, saying, "They ran towards each other and started fighting. (Johnson) was winning then Erica pulled something out and hit (Johnson) in the face."

The onlooker said Dixon hit Johnson with an object, possibly a razor blade, and she bled so badly she had to be rushed to the hospital. The eyewitness compared the presence of Johnson's blood "everywhere" to a scene in a "horror movie."

The source did not say if local police came to the party to investigate and at press time no one has been arrested. The eyewitness also revealed that producers of the show were so nervous about the incident leaking to the press, they "covered their tracks" by sending security to force anyone who may have recorded the incident to delete the footage.

Fans of the show might recall that during the first ever reunion show for Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta, Dixon and Johnson quarreled over the nature of the latter's relationship with Scrappy. Scrappy eventually proposed to Dixon, who is also the mother of his child. Johnson was so upset about the proposal that she walked off the set.

Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta season 2 will premiere on VH1 on April 22 at 8/7 p.m. Central.
