Dinna fash, Outlander fans! Starz will being Diana Gabaldon’s Voyager and Drums of Autumn to life with a third and fourth season.

From Scotland to the Caribbean to post-war America, Jamie (Sam Heughan), Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and their progeny will take the world by storm. The Battle of Coulldon is far from the end of line for the Sassenach and the Highlander.

Currently in the midst of season 2, Outlander ia guarenteed to take viewers through the events of Gabaldon’s fourth novel.

“The world of Jamie and Claire is expansive and emotionally complex. The audience has rewarded Outlander with their praise and loyalty, and we know we will deliver the best seasons yet in the years ahead,” Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, presidents of U.S. Programming and Production for Sony Pictures Television, announced on Wednesday. “Starz has been an incredible partner and has truly helped shape this into one of the most iconic premiere series on the air today.”

Executive producer Ron Moore teased the impending seasons on Twitter in May, highlighting the unique challenges writers will face while adapting Voyager.

Voyager is a little easier in terms of story but very complex for production,” Moore said, comparing it to Dragonfly in Amber.

Starz has yet to set premiere dates or episode orders for seasons 3 and 4.
