What went wrong in the romance between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris?

According to Wednesday's report from Hollywood Life, their relationship was pretty much like anyone else's in the sense that it wasn't perfect. But there may have been some factors in there that were just too much to handle.

"There have been some issues," a source told the site. "They're like any couple, they've had their disagreements."

Apparently, one of the problems was when the singer did her silly dance with actor Tom Hiddleston at the Met Gala last month. While it may have been harmless fun, Harris didn't seem to take it well.

"One thing Calvin wasn't happy about was that video that came out of her dancing with Tom at the Met Ball," the source said. "What guy wants to see a video of his girl getting that close to a guy like Tom?"

As it turns out, this particular moment doesn't seem to be the specific reason why the DJ and pop superstar called it quits. It also appears that these two were able to work out a lot of their problems so no one is really sure why it ended so abruptly.

"It's not like they broke up over that, but it proves they did have their fights," the insider revealed. "Things weren't always perfect, but still things did seem to be on track for them, this has shocked a lot of people not just Taylor."

Another report from Hollywood Life claims that a possible reason for the split was because Swift was ready to tie the knot, but he wasn't at the marriage step.

"Taylor was starting to pressure Calvin into walking down the aisle and he just felt that he wasn't ready yet," a source said.

Harris and Swift were together for a little more than a year before the break-up.
