Carmen Luna's (Roselyn Sanchez) life is going to be infinitely more complicated on the new season of Devious Maids.

After a season which saw her sleeping with a married man, acting as the Mistress for Adrian Powell's (Tom Irwin) increased obsession with BDSM, and almost getting killed by the same married man she slept with after he revealed himself as the man who murdered Louis Becker and Blanca, her life will be more off-track, with the introduction of Daniela Mercado (Sol Rodriguez), a relative who also has her sights set on making it in the music industry.

However, in an interview with the Sun-Sentinel, Rodriguez reveals she was shocked to learn just who her character would be to Carmen.

"I come on the show thinking that I am Carmen's cousin and then I find out that she's my mom, so you can imagine how that goes," she says.

Fans learned in season three that Carmen actually had a daughter years ago, who she gave up for adoption. And now, this daughter is in Beverly Hills and is a part of her life, which will potentially bring her some new conflict, and a healthy dose of competition when it comes to scoring a recording contract.

Of course Carmen won't be the only one dealing with increased struggles in the new season, as Rosie (Dania Ramirez) could wind up finding herself in the midst of a new murder mystery, after it appears Spence (Grant Show) may discover a dead body, which could be his recently returned first wife, Peri (Mariana Klaveno), whom he remembers being married to, at the expense of his relationship with Rosie, which he doesn't recall.

It is still unclear about the fate that befell Adrian after he was still in his and Evelyn's (Rebecca Wisocky) mansion when ut blew up thanks to Sebastien's (Gilles Marini) plan to kill them all so his identity as the man who killed Louis and Blanca would remain a secret.

Devious Maids season 4 premieres Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
